VIVAMUS is a beautiful, well cared for 48' Frers Dawn Centercockpit Ketch. Awseome to sail! A wonderful and sought after design. This is a PROJECT BOAT - needs a new deck, and main bulkhead; interior needs to be cleaned.
Designed by German Frers and manufactured by Kong & Halvorsen in 1985. There have been very few available on the market - she is hull # 7 of fifteen ever made! Her bow thruster makes her easily maneuverable. This Dawn 48 has two staterooms - one is a walk thru aft cabin. Two heads, a wrap around galley and a large salon with three berths available. Her teak interior and teak & holly sole have been well maintained. She's very comfortable! A good inventory of sails, set up with Harken roller furling systems. Accommodations
This rare Dawn 48 - Which really is a project boat - features two private staterooms (each has their own head with a shower) that sleep two couples comfortably. Her Vee berth has ample shelving, a hanging locker; the en-suite head has a sink, shower and toilet. This Frers has a 14.5 beam making her salon very spacious and has headroom of over 6’6”. Perfect for entertaining. A dinette table is located to the port side of the salon which can be converted to double berth. To starboard is a very comfortable settee with teak shelving/storage above. TV, CD, DVD and FM radio. The cabin is varnished teak with teak and holly sole. The aft owner’s stateroom maintains nice storage, lockers with drawers and a private head, with a separate shower stall w/teak seat. She is extremely comfortable and has headroom of 6’2”. Sea Recovery Water Maker and Bow Thruster. A fast German Frers design that will please you; discover her language and you will have no fear of flying Vivamus across the blue!
